On a very small site near the Capital Hotel in Seoul, the client wanted to create multiple housing maximizing the site's full potential within a tight budget. We decided to use a darker brick from abroad to establish a solemn and luxury presence while keeping the construction cost low. With a minimal palette of colors and shapes, we utilized a concept of 'scale', 'repetition' and 'shifting' to create a successful residential development with 'timeless' feel.
