The primary scheme behind SPAC is Transformation, which is a direct visualization of the type of human occupation, program occurrence, and outside influences that are affecting the site. Understanding that a skyline is a visualization of human activity, SPAC exhibits data visualization which represents specific activities, specific to Seoul. This makes SPAC a new combination of beauty and efficiency through the expression of a transforming structure with a movable skin structural frame. The building can be changeable per user / occupant and has an adaptability that has never seen before. As an additional feature, the roof of the main opera Theatre opens up to the night sky, transforming the typical experience while still maintaining optimal acoustic conditions. This enhances the experience and draws the city into the performances.
